Installation

Simply roll the insulation across the rafters or joists, staples into place (using minimum 14mm staples), overlap the material by 50mm, tape and seal all overlaps and perimeter of the product using ThermaWrap Foil Tape. To finish either apply 25mm horizontal battens and plasterboard or leave the insulation exposed in areas that do not require an internal finish.

Walls

Using Thermawrap General Purpose Insulation in a new or existing wall (timber frame or masonry) is a quick and efficient method of improving the overall thermal performance, Keeping the heat in your home is essential for lowering your energy bills, carbon footprint and best of all saving you money.

Installation

Timber frame – Simply roll the insulation across the vertical timber stud, staples into place (using minimum 14mm staples), overlap the material by 50mm, tape and seal all overlaps and perimeter of the product using ThermaWrap Foil Tape. To finish either apply 25mm horizontal battens and plasterboard or leave the insulation exposed in areas that do not require an internal finish.

Masonry – Simply apply 25mm vertical timber battens, roll the insulation across the battens, staples into place (using minimum 14mm staples), overlap the material by 50mm, tape and seal all overlaps and perimeter of the product using ThermaWrap Foil Tape. To finish either apply 25mm horizontal battens and plasterboard or leave the insulation exposed in areas that do not require an internal finish.

Floors

Installation

Simply roll the insulation across the vertical timber joists, staples into place (using minimum 14mm staples), overlap the material by 50mm (leaving the overlaps untapped), tape and seal the perimeter of the product using ThermaWrap Foil Tape. To finish apply your desired floor finish (floorboards, etc)

To finish either apply timber battens and plyboard or leave the insulation exposed.
